SAGRADA ELIXIR GIN
MORE ABOUT SAGRADA ELIXIR
Sagrada Elixir gin is a premium spirit crafted in the heart of the Catalonian region, inspired by the architectural genius of Antoni Gaudí and the rich cultural heritage of Catalonia. Distilled with high-end, locally sourced ingredients—including Mediterranean juniper, wild rosemary, vibrant citrus, and rare floral botanicals—the gin captures the essence of the region’s natural landscape.
Founded by a family deeply rooted in Catalonia, the distillery was established to honor both their homeland and Gaudí’s legacy. Much like Gaudí’s architecture, which embraces organic forms and intricate details, Sagrada Elixir is thoughtfully crafted with patience and artistry. Every element, from the carefully selected botanicals to the distillation process, reflects a deep respect for nature and the region’s traditions. The result is a sophisticated gin that offers a sensory journey through Catalonia, blending heritage, artistry, and exceptional flavor.
THE PROCESS
To bring Sagrada Elixir gin to life, I utilized a combination of design programs to capture the essence of Catalonia and Antoni Gaudí’s architectural influence. I began the process in Blender, where I modeled and rendered the bottle design. This allowed me to experiment with organic shapes, textures, and intricate details inspired by Gaudí’s signature use of curves and mosaic patterns.
I focused on creating a structure that felt both modern and timeless, mirroring Gaudí’s ability to blend natural forms with bold architecture. By combining the capabilities of Blender and Photoshop, I was able to seamlessly merge architectural inspiration with thoughtful product design, resulting in a bottle that embodies the artistry, craftsmanship, and cultural richness of Sagrada Elixir gin.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
BEHIND THE SCENES, AND MORE
To create Sagrada Elixir gin, I began by immersing myself in the rich cultural heritage of Catalonia and the work of Antoni Gaudí, whose architectural masterpieces provided deep inspiration. By studying Gaudí’s organic forms, vibrant colors, and commitment to integrating nature into his designs, I sought to infuse similar principles into both the gin’s formulation and
its visual identity.
Understanding the popularity of gin in Spain, particularly the cultural ritual surrounding the gin-tonic, was crucial in shaping the product to resonate with local traditions while offering a distinct, artisanal experience. The choice of botanicals was inspired by the Catalonian landscape—incorporating native herbs, citrus, and floral notes to capture the essence of the region.Gaudí’s philosophy of slow, thoughtful craftsmanship is reflected in the gin-making process, emphasizing patience and the natural unfolding of flavors. Just as Gaudí allowed his architecture to grow organically, the distillation process was approached with careful attention to detail, allowing time for each botanical to express itself fully. The final product embodies the harmony between nature, culture, and artistry—core principles of Gaudí’s work—while offering a sensory journey through Catalonia’s landscapes and traditions.
